CATHY TERRICK

The CATHY TERRICK case as prosecuted by the College of Nurses of Ontario is summarized or at least introduced in [EXHIBIT C-51], Aug. 28, 2001 - Marilyn Munro to College of Nurses of Ontario.  As our focus throughout the presentation is on those listed as Defendants, we will limit our commentary with respect to Ms CATHY TERRICK.  We do, however, feel it prudent to update you should we come across additional information.

[EXHIBIT C-7]: Please note following quote;

Dr. Brian Lynch

The panel questioned his objectivity in assessing the Member’s behaviour, as he had a close friendship with the Member. The panel did find he demonstrated integrity regarding the affidavit in that he stated he would not change his testimony when asked to do so. The panel also found the witness demonstrated professional expertise by refusing to support the child’s discharge from hospital when he was gravely ill. The panel agreed with the witness’s assessment of Ms Terrick.

[EXHIBIT C-4]: Please note following quote;

I have no argument with your College’s right to publish a fair, accurate, non-biased summary of a Discipline Committee panel’s decision and reasons with respect to any of your members. I do not even argue your College’s right to ignore publishing pertinent facts that go to the credibility of your College and the witnesses such as:

Mrs. Terrick’s suicide attempts

Mrs. Terrick’s fake suicide attempt

Mrs. Terrick’s demand that I change my affidavit

The praise I received from the panel for refusing to release Mrs. Terrick’s extremely ill son from the hospital while the panel in essence condemned Ms Munro for following my order.

That the College’s expert witness was an employee of the College and that this fact was with- held by the College.

So long as your membership accepts the format by which you represent them you may do as you like with respect to your membership.
