The Global Healthwatch Umbrella is a privately run organization of health care providers, patients, and other individuals dedicated to the provision of quality health care services.

We will strive to address problems in Health Care that are pervasive throughout the system and cause great harm to the individual members of its geographic or proclaimed area of responsibility. These needless, correctable, and grievous errors are often hidden or buried in the managerial, economic and political structures that actually determine what health care and quality of health care is received by the public it professes to serve.

We will seek to provide solutions where we can and to work cooperatively with health care providers and their professional organizations, professional governing bodies, federal, provincial or state governments, health care facilities, patient groups, the pharmaceutical and insurance industries, and any other participant in the Health Care System. But we know nothing will actually be done unless we all stand together and demand fairness, competence, honesty, and the willingness to take responsibility instead of hiding behind an imagined cloak of self-indulging, self-serving authority. We have the technology to heal but we need courage to demand health.

Through a thorough examination by carefully exposing the infectious areas of rampant decay in the health care system, we hope to first to identify the rot, then swiftly remove it, seal these surgical wounds, and let the healing begin. With your committed help and courageous participation we feel it can be done.

As we have stated, our step-by-step goals are as follows:

1. To identify system problems in Health Care that cause harm to the people it is obligated, by inference, to honestly, compassionately, and effectively serve. This we hope to accomplish by reviewing your past or current difficulties with insurance companies, hospitals, governing bodies, review boards, etc. See our [NEW ISSUES] page.

 

2. To publicise our findings so that the public can see the extent of the problem and first take solace in knowing that they are not alone and can collectively effect the cause of the problem. See our Current Case-Chapter via our [CASE DRIVER] page.

 

3. To encourage every member of the public, as every member may at any time become an unwitting victim of a similar malady, to clearly validate for themselves the reality of each situation. See our writings under the headings: The Jury and Warning to Jury on our [CASE FORMAT] page.

 

4. To fully examine the details of each issue and each sub-issue so that we do not, in our own error, attempt to correct what is right but do relentlessly burn out with the brightest of lights that which is dangerously infectious. 5. From this process of exposure, presentation, argument, and defence, we hope to encourage those that are in a position to effect immediate correction and future improvement to become aware of these problems and act accordingly.

To address, through this medium, health care providers, organizations, governing bodies, governments, health care facilities, patient groups, industry, business, and any other influential group that may have effected Health Care so that they may be informed of the outcome of their actions or lack thereof.

 

7. To encourage feedback and dialogue amongst all of the participants in the Health Care System so that solutions may be found and implemented.

A world that conceals its dirty deeds behind closed doors, bureaucratic mumbo jumbo, confidentiality, the Awe know best@ and Aholier than thou@ insistences, financial double talk, and the Judicial System.

Although all influences on health care play a part in determining the quality and quantity of care at the bedside or in the home, we do not envision toppling governments because they do not have the means (financial, intellectual, or moral capacity) to look after their physically and mentally vulnerable. We do, however, expect to expose those who with their proclaimed authority, be it financial or appointed, through their ignorance, incompetence, belligerence, financial gluttony, moral depravity, niggardliness, pompous maliciousness, or pious arrogance wrongly cause harm to the frontline health care professional or to individuals depending on and rightly entitled to the health care these professionals provide.

We can accept the innocent error of an individual no matter how grievous provided effectively corrective actions are taken by that individual. We all make mistakes. We can even accept the unthinkable harm caused by an individual trapped in their personal unending spiral of madness provided that when found they are properly and fully restrained from continuing with their insane victimization of innocents. We never know when we ourselves may be overcome with a mental disorder. Thereby, matters such as these will not be exposed in this forum - unless, of course, there is no actual correction or restraint as prescribed.

This web site is specifically designed for the expressed purpose of exposing individuals= grievances with respect to these bodies of influence when they are perceived to have inexcusably caused harm.
